Welltec Partners as Sponsor to Advance Digital Access for
Underserved Girls
MindAfrica Leadership Initiative successfully hosted Girls in ICT Day 2025 on Thursday, May 22nd, in Port Harcourt, welcoming over 300 adolescent girls from diverse public and private secondary schools, including Community Secondary Schools, Air Force school, Federal Government Girls College, and Faith-based Schools. The event was proudly supported by Welltec, which served as the official sponsor, underscoring its commitment to advancing inclusive education and female participation in technology. The company’s Country Manager for West Africa, Karim Boseli, attended the event in person, engaging directly with the girls and emphasising the importance of representation, equity, and innovation in shaping the future workforce.
“We believe that empowering girls through ICT is one of the most effective ways to drive inclusive growth and innovation,” said Karim Boseli, Country Manager, West Africa, Welltec. “Partnering with MindAfrica allows us to support a transformative initiative that aligns with our values and long-term vision for social impact.”
